When you create an account, we collect your email address and information you choose to provide, such as your first name and onboarding preferences. Your conversations with our fictional characters are stored so the Service can maintain story continuity and remember the context of your experience. We do not collect precise location data, advertising identifiers, or demographic profiles.
We use your information to provide and operate the Service, maintain your account, continue your story across sessions, process and verify subscription access, enforce message limits and fair-use rules, deliver opted-in push notifications, respond to support requests, protect the safety and integrity of the platform, and comply with legal or operational requirements. We do not sell your personal information.
Conversation history is treated as sensitive product data. It is stored to make the interactive fiction experience work, including character memory, continuity, and context. We do not use conversation history for advertising, ad targeting, data brokerage, or third-party marketing analytics.
The Immersive Storytelling mobile app does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, does not collect advertising identifiers, and does not track you across other apps or websites. We may use limited first-party operational information, such as message counts, subscription entitlement status, error reports, latency, app version, platform, and push delivery status, to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
If you choose to enable push notifications, we store the information needed to deliver them, such as a push token, platform, app version, timezone, notification preferences, and delivery status. Push notifications are optional. Romantic preview content is off by default and can be controlled through notification settings.
We use essential cookies and similar technologies to maintain login sessions, account security, and preferences. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking cookies. Our public website may use Google Analytics to understand aggregate page traffic and site performance. The Immersive Storytelling mobile app does not include a Google Analytics SDK.
We use service providers to operate the Service, including Supabase for authentication, database, and account records; Stripe for payment processing; Google OAuth if you choose Google sign-in; Expo, Apple, and Google/Firebase services for opted-in push notifications; Cloudflare and Bluehost for hosting and relay infrastructure; and DeepSeek or another AI model provider for generating fictional character responses. These providers process information only as needed to support the Service.
We retain account information and conversation history while your account is active because it is necessary for story continuity. If you cancel or close your account, you may request deletion of your data by contacting support@moghq.com. Some records may be retained for a limited period where required for legal, billing, security, or operational reasons.
We use reasonable security measures designed to protect your data, including access controls and server-side protections for sensitive conversation records. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn that we have collected information from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection laws, including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@moghq.com.
Immersive Storytelling is operated from the United States and is not currently intended for users located in the European Union, European Economic Area, or United Kingdom. If you are located in one of these jurisdictions, you should not create an account, purchase a subscription, or use the Service.
If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
